Lula League Lippert, 100, of Versailles, widow of John Fredrick Lippert, died Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2016. Born June 17, 1916, in Woodford County, she was the daughter of the late James and Nancy Newton League. She retired from Texas Instruments, was a member of Versailles Baptist Church and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Survivors include a son, Fred (Mary Lee) Lippert, Versailles; a daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Lippert, Lexington; four grandchildren, Lisa Lippert (Kenny) Scott, Preston (Sandy) Lippert, Deanna (Mike) DeBorde, and John (Kim) Lippert; 10 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. A son, Clarence Lippert, is deceased. Services were conducted Saturday, Dec. 3, at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill, by the Rev. Michael Cabell. Burial was in the Versailles Cemetery. Casket bearers were Preston Lippert, Jacob Lippert, Maxton Lippert, Ryan Lippert, Kenny Scott, Mike DeBorde and John Lippert. Honorary bearer was Chance Scott.
