Jeanette C. Montgomery, 88, of Versailles, widow of Lloyd Dudley Montgomery, died Thursday, Dec. 1, 2016, at her home. Born in Woodford County, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Virgie Norton Curd. She was a member of the Palomar Baptist Church. Survivors include three daughters, Marcia (Mickey) Crutcher, Paducah, Lee Talley, Lebanon, and Karen (Scott) Tafoya of Albuquerque, N.M.; a brother, William (Bettye) Curd, Lexington; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Two sisters, Mary Catherine Prather and Edith Bogie, and three brothers, Roland, Turley, and Robert Curd, are deceased. Services were conducted Monday, Dec. 5, at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home by the Rev. James Heard. Burial was in the Versailles Cemetery. Casket bearers were her grandsons, Brent Crutcher, Dennis Crutcher, Scott Talley, Jesse Tafoya, Richard Murphy, Jason Stoltz, and Brian Johnson.
