Judy Odell Adams, 68, formerly of Versailles, died Sunday, Nov. 27, 2016, at her home in Springfield, Va. Born Dec. 13, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Joseph M. and Catherine Gilkison Adams of Versailles. Survivors include a son, Will (Marie -Cheryl) Hagan, of Maryland, and a daughter, Jennifer (Tim) Rhodes, of Maryland; her significant other, Barry Compton, Virginia; a sister, Joan (Tim) Drury, of Beaufort, S.C.; two brothers, Jeff (Judith) Adams and Jeremy (Beth) Adams, both of Versailles; four grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren. A brother, Joseph M. Adams Jr., is deceased. A memorial service will be conducted at Versailles Baptist Church after the first of the year.
