Willard

Judy G. Willard, Ph.D., 71, of Versailles, wife of John Willard, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2016. Born May 26, 1945, in Gross Gerau, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Churchill and Hester Goodspeed. She spent 33 years as a professor at Morehead State University. She was a member of the Equine Science Society and became a Fellow in 2011. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a brother, Peter Goodspeed, Ohio. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 18, at Clark LegacyCenter, Versailles Road, Frankfort. A celebration of life will follow the gathering at 4 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Woodford Humane Society.
