Iris H. Hall, 71, wife of Bill Hall of Versailles, died Friday, Dec. 23, 2016, at Baptist Healthcare in Lexington. Born in Stanton, she was the daughter of the late Isom and Mina Wilson Halsey. She was a retired health unit coordinator for the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Lexington. She attended the Versailles United Methodist Church. In addition to her husband of 47 years, she is survived by a son, Shane (Jennifer) Hall, Versailles; three grandchildren, Peyton Hall, Lauren Hall, and Jonah Hall; a sister, Joann (Gary) Lake, Stanton; three brothers, Darvel (Clara) Halsey, Florida, Jimmy (Billie) Halsey, Frankfort, and Verlin (Susan) Halsey, Stanton. Services were conducted Wednesday, Dec. 28, by the Rev. Tim Thompson. Committal and interment were at Rose Crest Cemetery. Casket bearers were Nick Grot, Jon Lake, Chip Southworth, Brandon McCoy, Ben Southworth, and Lucas Southworth.
