Grace R. Volpert, 79, of Versailles, widow of James E. Deahl and Patrick A. Volpert, died Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2016. Born April 10, 1937, in Bedford, Wis., she was the daughter of the late Max and Victoria Rudolph. She worked as an interior designer with Beasmers Furniture. Survivors include 11 children Debbie A. (Dean) Reese, Midway, Lisa M. Rowe, Frankfort, Barbara (Ali) Ziaeisangary, Australia, Pamela J. (Edward) Deahl, Maine, Cathy A. (Dennis) Spencer, Frankfort, Greg A. (Chung Cha) Volpert, Massachusetts, Valeria K. Deahl, Massachusetts, Sherry L. (Morgan) Weber, Waddy, Jeffery D. (Missy) Volpert, North Carolina, David C. (Arlene) Deahl, New York, and Joshua P. (Cherel) Volpert, New York; a sister, Judith Damm, Wisconsin; a brother, Russ Rudolph, Wisconsin; a daughter-in-law, Stephanie Deahl, Versailles; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A son Mark J. Deahl, is deceased. A gathering of family and friends was held on Friday, Dec. 30, at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Road, Frankfort. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the ASCPA and the Audubon Society.
