Ringing in the New Year at Midway’s Golden Rails 5K

IT WAS COLD OUTSIDE, but that didn’t stop the runners who participated in the annual Frozen Rails 5K Run in Midway on New Year’s Day, which is run by meet director Bob Baney. Winning the overall race was Jacob Kuntz, left, the son of Darcie and Jim Jarman and Mike and Stephanie Kuntz. He is a 2009 graduate of Woodford County High School and graduated from Wittenberg University in 2014, where he ran cross-country and track. He is now living in Salt Lake City, Utah, where he works for Ragnar, an ultra-distance running race production company. (Photo by WowTrackShots)
