Enlow sets rebound records

On Tuesday, Feb. 6, at home in The Hive, the Woodford County High School girls’ basketball team defeated East Jessamine, 66-52. In the game, freshman Delaney Enlow set two new rebounding records. First, she set the single-game record with 21 rebounds. Second, she surpassed the single-season record with 346 rebounds, with four games left in the regular season and the post-season yet to come. (The previous record was 334 set by Jessica Morgan in 2011-12.)

“Delaney is getting better and better with her footwork and positioning,” said Woodford head coach Jay Lucas. “She's continuing to improve with her skills to become the best scorer, rebounder and defender we need to help us win. She is such a pleasure to coach as she listens and wants to do what we ask her to do.”"
