King


Mary Gray Roberts King, 91, formerly of Harrodsburg, widow of Edwin E. King, died Friday, Feb. 3, 2017, at her residence in Danville.

Born Oct. 25, 1925, in Woodford County, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary Eaves Roberts. She was a member of the Hedgeville Baptist Church and had attended Bohon Christian Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Judith (Richard) Peach, Garrard County, and Susan (Tony) Hunt, Danville; two brothers, George Roberts, Anderson County, and Owen (Patti) Roberts, Versailles; a sister, Corinne (George) Duvall, Boyle County; five grandchildren; and four great-granddaughters. Three siblings, Helen, Nat, and Kenneth Roberts, are deceased.

Services were conducted Monday, Feb. 6, at the Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home, Harrodsburg, by Barb Browning. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery. Casket bearers were Michael Peach, Matthew Peach, Paul Rodrigues, Brad Metzger, Will Browning, and Roger King.
