Dianna Rannells died Jan. 30, 2017, at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Lexington.

Born in Butler, Pa., she moved to Versailles to be in the center of the Saddlebred horse industry. She was a truly gifted horseman, and she trained and rode many Champion and World’s Grand Champion winners in shows all over the country.

Survivors include her brother, Timothy Faux of Tulsa, Okla.; and his children, Phoebe of Boston, Neil of Dallas, Dwight of Fort Smith, Ark., Stephanie of Houston, Lana of Dallas, J. Wade of Seattle, and Sam of Norman, Okla. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lucas P. and Ruth Ketterer Faux, her brother, David, her sister, Marilee, and her brother’s wife, Margie Faux. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, at St. John’s Church, 210 North Main Street, Versailles, with reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the charity of one’s choice. (Paid obituary)
