William B. Cloyd, 83, of Versailles, husband of Christine Cloyd, died Thursday, Feb. 9, 2017. Born Dec. 31, 1934, in Midway, he was the son of the late Estill and Alice Brophy Cloyd. He was a retired employee of Square D and worked as a Planning and Zoning administrator for the Woodford County Government. He was also a veteran of the United States Air Force. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, William Linville (Angie) Cloyd, Florence; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Two daughters, Barbara Robinson and Donna Adcock, a sister, Martha Lancaster, and a brother, Earl Cloyd, are deceased. Services were conducted Monday, Feb. 13, at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Casket bearers were Charles Thompson, Bill Thompson, Richard McGoldrick, Ben McGoldrick and Chad Rudzik.
