Police Reports Versailles police responded to three injury accidents, 12 non-injury accidents, one domestic-related complaint and made two arrests. One Feb. 9 at 7:36 p.m., a Toyota Camry driven by Noel Owens, 19, of Lexington, was eastbound on Lexington Road when his vehicle struck a Ford F-150 driven by Stepan Selepina, 55, of 108 Shepards Trace, at the intersection of Lexington Road and Shannon Run Road. A witness and police said Owens failed to stop at the red light. Woodford County EMS personnel responded to the accident, but no one was taken to a hospital. On Feb. 9 at 7:25 a.m., a Nissan Rogue driven by Shane J. Sellers, 50, of 460 Pisgah Pike, was northbound on Pisgah Pike stopped at the stop sign at the intersection of Old Frankfort Pike. Sellers tried to turn right and, police said, failed to yield to a Toyota Corolla driven by Patricia S. Goodwine, 64, of 790 Janet Street. Goodwine was taken to St. Joseph Hospital. Sellers told police he had trouble seeing over a stone wall on the corner. On Feb. 2 at 7:13 p.m., an Infiniti G-20 driven by Melissa Parsons, 44, of 525 Oak Street, had just left Thornton's and was stopped at the stop sign at Dale Avenue and Lexington Road. Parsons told police her vehicle was rear-ended by a Nissan Sentra driven by an unknown female. Parsons said she followed the Sentra and confronted the driver in a parking lot on Lexington Street before the Sentra drove off again and a 9-1-1 operator told her to stop following. Versailles EMS workers examined Parsons and police found no visible damage on her vehicle. On Feb. 7, a wire feeder welder worth $634 was reported stolen from a farm on Pisgah Pike. On Feb. 7, a service station on Blackhawk Circle reported fraudulent use of a credit card worth $83.04. On Feb. 9, a jar with $200 in change and clothes worth $100 were reported stolen from a home on Ashmore Avenue. On Feb. 10, a vehicle was reported leaving the scene of an accident on Wooldridge Lane. On Feb. 9, an iPhone 6S worth $800 was reported stolen at Woodford County High School. On Jan. 25, police made an arrest on Frankfort Road involving failure to produce an insurance card, speeding and possession of marijuana. On Feb. 7, a Poplar Street home reported vandalism to a Ford Crown Victoria estimated at $1,500 and a tire on a Ford Expedition worth $100. On Feb. 7, a vehicle in a Linden Circle lot was reported vandalized. On Feb. 6, a Winchester rifle worth $200 was reported stolen from a Crown Court home. On Feb. 8, a Nissan Frontier was reported vandalized on Linden Circle. On Feb. 8, a Dell Latitude computer worth $1,200 was reported stolen from a vehicle in the Kroger parking lot. Fire Reports City Firefighters performed 20 EMS assists during the past week. A carbon monoxide investigation was performed at a Martin Luther King Jr. residence Feb. 11. A smoke detector malfunctioned at a Seth Drive residence Feb. 12. An alarm was accidentally activated at the OSRAM Sylvania Lamp Plant Feb. 14.
