Donald Benjamin "Benny" Cox, 50, of Lawrenceburg, died Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017. Born Nov. 19, 1966, in Versailles, he was the son of the late Clarence Roger Cox and Wilma Joyce Crowe Cox. He enjoyed fishing and formerly worked as a self-employed carpenter, painter, fencing, and in small engine repair. Survivors include six children, Benjamin Thomas Cox and Paul William Harlow, both of Lawrenceburg, Jock Allen Cox, Nebraska, Phillip Daniel Cox and Clarence Patrick Cox, both of Somerset, and Zachary Tyler Cox, Frankfort; a sister, Judy Cox Dean, Lawrenceburg; a brother, Paul Lee Cox, Lawrenceburg; an aunt, Juanita King, Versailles; and an uncle, J.R. (Dian) Cox, Bowling Green. A sister, Wilma Jean "Sissy" Cox, and two brothers, William Henry "Billy" Cox and Roger Phillip Cox, are deceased. Services were conducted Saturday, Feb. 18, at Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home by Pastor Tony Andrade. Burial was in the Sand Spring Cemetery. Casket bearers were Thomas Cox, Paul Harlow, Paul Cox, Stedman Norton, James Hill, and Scott Hatchett.
