Ronald W. Thurman, 74, of Georgetown, husband of Judy O'Nan Thurman, died Sunday, Feb. 19, 2017. Born Jan. 23, 1943, in Bonne Terre, Mo., he was the son of the late Willard and Naomi Counts Thurman. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and worked in sales for the Herald-Leader. He was a member of Versailles Baptist Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Kelly Brandenburg Klaber, Georgetown; a son, Tracy Thurman, Lexington; a sister, Rita Pratte (Allen), Alabama; two grandchildren, Delaney Martin and Wyatt Klaber; a great-grandson, Winston; and several nieces and nephews. A granddaughter, Brittany Martin, is deceased. A gathering of family and friends will be held today, Thursday, Feb. 23, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Road, Frankfort. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Woodford Humane Society. Condolences may be expressed at www.clarklegacycenter.com.
