James Allen Cairell Sr., 65, husband of Debra May Aubrey, died Saturday, March 4, 2017, at his home in Sadieville. He was the son of the late Vernon and Melzennie Cairell. Survivors include a son, James Allen Cairell Jr (Christina), Frankfort; three sisters, Lena Smith, Englewood, Calif., Patricia Hillard, Lexington, and Carey Bisterfeldt (Fred), Lexington; two grandchildren, Cassia James Cairell and Odell Scott Hager, both of Frankfort; and a great-grandchild, Melody Storm Hager, Frankfort. A daughter, Tamatha Cairell, two sons, Jonathan and Gary Cairell and a brother, Vernon Gary Cairell, are deceased. Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. today, Thursday, March 9, at Blackburn and Ward Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the service. Casket bearers will be James Cairell Jr, Richard McNew, Reno Sartor, Bob Guilda, Tom Hutchinson, and Stan Petrey. Honorary bearers will be his nephews. Burial will follow at Rose Crest Cemetery.
