James "Jim" Helmburg, 65, of Versailles, husband of Peggy Helmburg, died Sunday, March 5, 2017. A native of Woodford County, he was born on May 3, 1951, the son of the late James Wesley and Ruth Freeman Helmburg. He is a retired employee of Quad Graphics. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Patty Helmburg (Kevin) Eades, Versailles, Mary Anne Helmburg (Craig) Tillett, Versailles, and Tiffany Helmburg (Troy) Houp, Lancaster; a son, James W. "Jimmy" (Syndi) Helmburg II, Richmond; a sister, Sue Murphy, Lawrenceburg; 10 grandchildren, Sean and Daniel Eades, Gabrielle and Heather Tillett, Dylan, Landon, and Grayson Houp; Ryan and Kayden Helmburg; and Adrianna Butler; and a great-grandson, Carter Hollon. Services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. today, Thursday, March 9, at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Road, Frankfort, by Pastor Tony Andrade. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Casket bearers will be Virgil Lunsford, Brian Lunsford, Sean Eades, Daniel Eades, Terry Moore, Earl Claypool.
