Police Reports Versailles police responded to one accident involving an injury, 18 non-injury wrecks, issued two citations/summonses and made two arrests. On March 21 at 1:09 p.m., a Nissan Xterra driven by Jairo A. Navas, 29, of 310 Laval Heights, was eastbound on Clifton Road three miles outside of the city limits when it went off the right side of the road and struck a utility pole and tree. Navas told police he'd been told the tie rod needed to be replaced, but thought he could make it into town. Police say he didn't have a Kentucky driver's license. Navas was taken to UK Chandler Hospital. Police say inattention was a factor in the crash. On March 27, $500 in cash was reported stolen from a Locust Street office building. On March 23, a forged driver's license was reported at Woodford County High School. On March 26, tools worth $3,030 were reported stolen from a home on McCowans Ferry Road.
