Olson "Wayne" McMurray, 70, of Versailles, died Tuesday, March 21, 2017. Born January 2, 1947, in Versailles, he was the son of Christine McMurray and the late Adrian McMurray. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, worked as an auto mechanic for Action Carburetor, and was a member of Versailles United Methodist Church. In addition to his mother, he is survived by two daughters, Brandi Pigeon, Missouri, and Christine Ryder, Florida; two sons, Olson W. McMurray Jr., Lawrenceburg, and James McMurray, Lawrenceburg; a sister, Sue Cammack, Frankfort; two brothers, Ernie McMurray, Versailles, and Steve McMurray, Springfield; and 10 grandchildren. A brother, Alvin Hilton, is deceased. A memorial service was conducted Wednesday, March 29, at Versailles United Methodist Church.
