Jean Harlow Fortner, 74, widow of Ronald W. Fortner, died Thursday, April 6, 2017. Born May 11, 1942, in Versailles, she was the daughter of the late Meridith "Mike" Woodson and Jessie Holt Newby Harlow. She was employed for over 35 years at Texas Instruments. She was a member of the Versailles Homemakers and Versailles United Methodist Church. Survivors include three sons, Gary Dean (Dawn) Harlow, Versailles, David Allen (Cheryl) Harlow, Florida, and Barry Dale (Carla Shuck) Harlow, Versailles; a sister, Betty Ann (Bill) McClure, Nicholasville; four brothers, Pete Harlow, Richard (Julie) Harlow, and Sammy Harlow, all of Versailles, and Mick Harlow, Lawrenceburg; five grandchildren, Kristen Faith Harlow, Kayla Grace Harlow, Corey Dale Harlow, Jonathan Holt Harlow, and Alexander Martin Harlow; and two great-grandchildren, Kaylee Izbella Harlow and Paisleigh Claire Harlow. A brother, Randy Woodson Harlow, is deceased. Services were conducted Monday, April 10, at Blackburn and Ward Funeral Home. Burial followed in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Casket bearers were Sammy Harlow, Richard Harlow, Mick Harlow, Corey Harlow, Mike Harlow, and Brad Newby.
