Sue Turner Price, 94, of Versailles, widow of John Turner Jr. and Harry Price, died Friday, April 28, 2017. Born April 24, 1923, in Harrodsburg, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Leach and Lena Leach Jenkins. She was a homemaker and a member of Pinckard Baptist Church. Survivors include four children, Jerry Turner Sr., Versailles, Bill Turner, Florida, Tommy (Joyce) Turner, Versailles, and Sondra (Wayne) Woolums, Versailles; nine grandchildren, Felicia (Tony) Pitasi, Rita (Tim) Maple, Rhonda (David) Lewis, Brian Turner, Deena (Bobby) Nuckles, Jerry (Trina) Turner Jr., Gregg (Brandi) Turner, Teresa (Scott) Ware, and John (Cara) Turner; 11 great-grandchildren; and her five great-great-grandchildren. Services were conducted Wednesday, May 3, at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill, by the Rev. Walt Sanderson. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Casket bearers were Jerry Turner Jr., Gregg Turner, John Turner, Jonathan Britton, Evan Turner, and Scott Ware. Honorary bearers were Dr. William Graul, Buddy Britton, Glenn Poole, David Wachter, Brian Turner, David Lewis and Sandy Redmon In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Bluegrass Care Navigators.
