Mary Margaret Prebble Adams, of Versailles, widow of Archie R. Adams, died Wednesday, May 3, 2017, at her home. The daughter of the late Milton and Hannah Jones Prebble, she was a graduate of Fugazzi College of Business in Lexington and pursued a career at Hurstland Farm, Midway, and Clark Funeral Home, Versailles. Survivors include four children, Margaret (Fred) Lane, Versailles, Geneva (Elvis) Donaldson, Lexington, John (Mary) Adams, and Sharon Adams Richter, Versailles; six grandchildren, Laura (Dennis) Hensley, John A. Adams, Katherine Adams, Jason Adams, Rebecca Richter (Ellies), and Adam Donaldson; a brother, Charles Prebble (Betty); and a nephew, Lindsey Prebble (Carol), Paris. Burial was in the Clintonville Cemetery, Bourbon County, on Monday, May 8, officiated by the Rev. Vernon Adams. Casketbearers were Lindsey Prebble, Don Adams, Gary Adams, Larry Adams, John A. Adams, Jason Adams, Smith Donaldson, and David Clark. Contributions may be made to Bluegrass Care Navigators (formerly Hospice).
