Johnny Wayne Anderson, 60, of Versailles, died Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at his home. He was the son of the late Johnny and Clara Smith Anderson. He enlisted in the United States Army, were he received a Marksman M16, Army Service Ribbon, and a National Defense Service Medal. Survivors include a sister, Elsie Gilbert (Guy), Frankfort; two brothers, Albert Knox (Edna), Millville, and David Knox (Louise), Frankfort. A sister, Viola Harrison, and a brother, Charlie Knox, are deceased. Graveside services were conducted Monday, May 15, at Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Casket bearers were Guy Gilbert, Kevin Gilbert, Danny Knox, and Albert Knox. Honorary bearer was Dave Knox. Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
