Bobbie R. Goodrich Sr., 86, of Versailles, widower of Betty Boston Goodrich, died Monday, May 8, 2017. A native of Woodford County, he was born Aug. 4, 1930, the son of the late Oscar and Jenny Hippe Goodrich. He was a farmer and a member of Clear Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include a daughter, Felicia (Rick) Mayes, Frankfort; a son, Ray (Kathy) Goodrich, Versailles; five grandchildren, Grant (Ashley) Goodrich, Ashley (Eric) Darland, Kyle Goodrich, Chad Goodrich and Laura (Devon) Branson; and seven great-grandchildren. Six sisters, Dorothy Jacobs, Sarah Lancaster, Jo Ann Lewis, Louise Noland, Marjorie Carter and Jenna Lee Conway, and four brothers, Charlie Goodrich, Gene Goodrich, Wallace Goodrich, and Oscar Goodrich Jr., are deceased. A graveside service was conducted Thursday, May 11, at the Versailles Cemetery by Dr. Howard Beauman. Casket bearers were Grant Goodrich, Kyle Goodrich, Chad Goodrich, Ashley Darland, Laura Branson and David Darrell. Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill, was in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the FFA Woodford County High School.
