Lewis Gill, 66, husband of Charlotte Evans Gill, died Monday, May 29, 2017. Born May 1, 1951, in Jessamine County, he was the son of the late Johnny and Nettie Duke Gill Jr. He was a retired mechanic for General Motors and a member of Woodford Christian Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Sabrina (Rex) Wood and Amber Gill; a stepdaughter, Rebecca Blevins; two stepsons, Charles (Ashli) Evans and Kenneth (Alicia) Evans; and three sisters, Hazel (Bill) Peterson, Arlene (Darrell) Teater, and Jackie (Mark) Tolson. Two daughters, Beverly Keller and Rita Barnes, are deceased. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, June 2, at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m.Friday by the Rev. Mark Tolson. Burial will follow in Rose Crest Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Charles Evans, Kenneth Blevins, Johnathan Vanover, Rodney Davis, Ronnie Davis and Cheda Evans. Honorary bearers will be Anthony Vanover, Kenny Ray Vanover, Bobby Evans, Toodle Evans, Kenny Vanover, Donald Evans, Doug Evans, Joey Keller, Emmet Land, Travis Evans, Scott Curry and Damon Evans.
