Woman’s club garden tour set for June 10

The 2017 Woodford County Woman’s Club Spring Garden Tour will be held Saturday, June 10, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., rain or shine This year’s tour will feature seven diverse gardens in Versailles and Woodford County. Before, during or after the garden tour, people may stop by The Little House at 247 Lexington Street in Versailles and visit the club’s garden plant sale, sponsored by the Little Garden Club. There will be a variety of labeled and potted plants available at a reasonable cost. Advance tickets are $15 and may be purchased at the following businesses: In Versailles, MacDougal’s Garden Center, Cornerstone Pharmacy, Marketplace on Main, Woodford Feed, and 5 Seasons Gift Gallery; In Midway, Historic Midway Museum Store, Damselfly, and May & Co; In Lexington, Artique Gallery, Louis Flower Power Shop, Springhouse Gardens, and Michler’s Florist. Tickets the day of the tour will also be available for $20 at the Little House, 247 Lexington Street, Versailles. The proceeds from the tour will be used to purchase coats and shoes for Woodford County children as well as for the Save the Historic Little House Fund.
