Ralph W. Banks, 60, died Sunday, June 4, 2017, at the Frankfort Regional Medical Center. A native of Winchester, he was the son of William Ralph and Betty Jane Edwards Banks. He worked in agriculture, was a member of Clear Creek Baptist Church, Versailles, and enjoyed the time spent playing with his five grandchildren. Survivors include a daughter, Crystal (Bryan) Samples, Frankfort; two sisters, Rosella (Terry) Sutherland, Indianapolis, Ind., and Bonnie Banks, Frankfort; and five grandchildren, AshLynn and Austin Samples, and Kaden, Abigail and James Hollingsworth. Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. today, Thursday, June 8, at LeCompte Johnson Taylor Funeral Home, Frankfort. Burial will follow in the Bagdad Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Bryan Samples, Austin Samples, Kaden Hollingsworth, Cleve Edwards, William Banks and Jimmy Banks. Memorial contributions may be made to Bluegrass Care Navigators, 663 Teton Trail, Frankfort, KY 40601.
