Mildred M. Thompson, 85, of Versailles, died Wednesday, June 7, 2017. Born Aug. 28, 1931, in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late William Burnell Brown and Lucy Mae Brown. She retired as a short order cook at Dixie Restaurant in Georgetown. Survivors include a son, Ronnie (Terri) Thompson, Versailles; two brothers, Earl Brown, Florida, and Garland Brown, Lawrenceburg; four grandchildren, Chris Thompson, Glenn Allen Thompson, Deanna McDonald, and Anthony Ramsey; and four great-grandchildren, Lexi, Kaitlyn, Stacy, and Megan. A son, Stanley Glenn Thompson; and a sister, Annie Mae Egbert, are deceased. Services were conducted Monday, June 12, at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Casket bearers were Chris Thompson, Glenn Allen Thompson, Ralph Thompson, Tony Thompson, DeWayne Brown, and Josh Brown. Memorial contributions may be made to Bluegrass Care Navigators.
