Herman Lowe, 77, of Versailles, died Sunday, June 18, 2017, at the Golden Living Center in Frankfort. Born Feb. 15, 1940, in Paintsville, he was the son of the late Walter James and Bessie Scarberry Lowe. Survivors include five daughters, Dixie Lowe, Versailles, Suzanne (Adam) Eddy, West Virginia, Donna (Lesley) Huff, Georgetown, Earlene (Brian) Dalton, Louisa, and Lois (Wesley) Huff, Nicholasville; a son, Herman Dwayne Lowe, Versailles; two sisters, Bertha Warner, Frankfort, and Clista (Charles) Stoker, Georgia; a brother, Lloyd Lowe, Louisa; 13 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and his former wife, Debbie Lowe, Broadhead. Two brothers, James and Sherman Lowe, and two sisters, Geneva Holbrooks and Irene Mills, are deceased. Services were conducted Tuesday, June 20, at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill, by the Rev. Gary Hager. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to Bluegrass Care Navigators.
