Police Reports Versailles police responded to two injury accidents, 14 non-injury collisions, three domestic-related complaints, issued one citation and made four arrests. On June 14 at 6:52 a.m., a Dodge Ram driven by Justin R. Garcia, 19, of 1808 Cummins Ferry Road, was northbound on Troy Pike while a Ford F-150 driven by Robert S. Graeter, 25, of 609 Paige Court, was southbound on Troy Pike. The vehicles' driver-side rear view mirrors collided, causing minor damage to both vehicles. Woodford County EMS workers came to the scene, but neither driver was hospitalized. On June 14 at 9:24 a.m., a Saturn SC driven by Robert M. Price, 21, of Georgetown, was northbound on Midway Road when the vehicle dropped off the right shoulder. Price lost control and the vehicle struck a utility pole and fence, then overturned. Woodford County EMS came to the scene, but Price was not hospitalized. Police say misjudged clearance and not being under proper control were factors in the crash. On June 5, police made an arrest for DUI on Edmonds Crossing. On June 17, terroristic threatening was reported at a Macey Avenue home. On June 16, a Dodge Caravan worth $10,000 was reported stolen from a home on Turret Drive. On June 15, a weed-trimmer, chainsaw and other equipment worth a total of $1,884 were reported stolen from a farm on Old Frankfort Pike. On June 7, wreaths, crafts and other items worth a total of $1,000 were reported stolen from a building on Beasley Road. On June 14, a vehicle was reported leaving the scene of an accident on Troy Pike. On June 15, police made an arrest on Leestown Pike of a person reported to be mentally ill and a danger to self/others. On June 15, a $10 screen was broken and a bag of clothes worth $25 was reported stolen from a home on Macey Avenue. On June 14, a fraudulent check worth $2,250 was reported used on Depot Street to steal $400. On June 14, a citation was issued on I-64 West for possession of drug paraphernalia. On June 14, a vehicle was reported leaving the scene of an accident on Troy Pike that caused $400 worth of damage to a mailbox. On June 6, two Japanese Maple trees worth a total of $300 were reported stolen on North Gratz Street in Midway. On June 1, $480 in cash was reported stolen from a drug store or doctor's office on Lexington Street. On June 8, harassment was reported on McCracken Pike. On June 13, a vehicle was reported leaving the scene of an accident on Marsailles Road. On June 1, police made an arrest on Berger Road for resisting arrest. Fire Reports City Firefighters performed 15 EMS assists during the past week. Firefighters responded to a vehicle accident on Martin Luther King Boulevard June 15. A carbon monoxide detector malfunctioned at a Greentree Road residence June 18. Firefighters helped free a person from a stalled elevator at Margaret Hall Manor June 18. A smoke detector malfunctioned at a Linden Court residence June 18. County Firefighters performed two EMS assists during the past week. Firefighters responded to vehicle accidents on Troy Pike and Huntertown Road June 13, and on Leestown Road June 15. An alarm malfunctioned on McCracken Pike June 15. Burning food on a stove activated an alarm on Gastineau Lane June 17. Lightning struck a Locust Grove residence June 18, causing minor damage. A tree fire was extinguished on McCracken Pike June 18. Water from a leaking roof activated an alarm on Berry Avenue June 18. An alarm malfunctioned on Gleneagles Way June 19.
