Rebecca M. Tanner, 87, wife of Ken Tanner, died Monday, July 17, 2017, after a long battle with dementia. She was retired from General Telephone of Kentucky after 30 years of dedicated service and was an active member of Pinckard Baptist Church. In addition to her husband of 60 years, she is survived by a daughter, Tamera; and two granddaughters, Laura and Danielle. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 20, at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Friday, July 21, at Pinckard Baptist Church. Entombment will follow at Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made in her memory to Pinckard Baptist Church Memorial Fund, 3401 Pinckard Pike, Versailles, KY, 40383.
