TRC reviews residential development plans

The Technical Review Committee sent two residential development plans to the Planning Commission after those plans were reviewed on Tuesday morning. A final development plan for South Hill Properties, LLC, includes three apartment units at 119, 121 and 123 Garnett Court, and six parking spaces. The plan was forwarded to the commission for approval. An amended final development plan for Helmsley II allowing a two-unit condominium at 108 Rumsey Circle was also sent to the commission. A clubhouse was planned for the lot on the original development plan. Construction plans Letters of approval from County Engineer Buan Smith and City of Versailles Public Works Department must be received before a grading permit is issued for the final phase of Cedar Ridge subdivision (NARO Properties, LLC), which consists of 25 residential lots on 6.994 acres. During a review of the plans, Smith said he was concerned that a drainage basin for this subdivision was not sized as originally designed. Church plan An amended final development plan for Versailles United Methodist Church's new multipurpose building at 230 Paynes Mill Road, increasing the number of parking spaces on the site to 180, was sent to the Planning Commission chair for approval. Plats A minor plat for in-family conveyance allowing Walter E. Schott III to convey a 26.515-acre tract at 3517 Troy Pike to Margaret H. Schott (mother) and a 3.376-acre tract at 3495 Troy Pike to Elaine S. Schott (sister) was sent to the P&Z chair for approval. Following the conveyances, 280.827 acres will remain on the parent tract at 3473 Troy Pike. Project engineer/surveyor Tim Thompson said a rural residential development is planned for a portion of the property in the future. A minor plat for in-family conveyance allowing Jeffrey V. and Angie B. Greenwell to convey a 33.778-acre tract at 2586 Watts Ferry Road to their daughter, Lesley N. G. Lodmell, was sent to the P&Z chair for approval. A 15.205-acre tract at 2348 Watts Ferry Road will remain after the conveyance. A minor consolidation plat creates a 1.904-acre lot at 80 Hippe Agee Road (Dale Hippe) and a 2.758-acre lot at 74 Hippe Agee Road (Denise Watts), with an 8.201-acre lot at 240 Hippe Agee Road (Phillip and Janet Ridings).
