Jeffiers of 937 Gastineau Lane, Versailles, is not the same person as David E. Jeffers listed in Public Records on page 9 of the July 27 issue of The Sun. Police Reports Versailles police responded to three injury accidents, 18 non-injury collisions, four domestic-related complaints, issued one citation/summons and made six arrests. On July 24 at 8:49 a.m., a Ford Explorer driven by Amanda R. Monin, 23, of Bardstown, was eastbound on the Blue Grass Parkway when Monin veered left onto rumble strips, over-corrected to the right and left, and lost control of the vehicle, which entered the median and rolled over, coming to rest right side up. Monin and a passenger, Jaylin Q. Jones, 21, were treated at the scene by Woodford County EMS workers. On July 25 at 3:45 p.m., a Toyota Prius driven by Cynthia L. Peal, 53, of Lexington, was eastbound on Lexington Road when Peal lost consciousness, likely due to a seizure. The car went off the right shoulder, struck a street sign, crossed all lanes of Shannon Run Road and struck an earthen embankment. Peal was taken to Bluegrass Community Hospital. On July 30 at 4:41 p.m., a Suzuki VS 700 ridden by Patrick M. Harden, 46, of Shelbyville, was headed north on Old Frankfort Pike as the fourth motorcycle in a group of six. As they approached Fire Gate 65, a Hyundai Sonata driven by Rocio Aquino-Castillo, age unknown, of 116 Powhatan Trail, prepared to pull out of a driveway to head north on Old Frankfort Pike. Police say there was apparently a space between the third motorcycle and Harden's, and Aquino-Castillo began to pull out in front of Harden. Harden saw the car and locked his rear wheel. Aquino-Castillo swerved hard to the left and said he didn't hit Harden. Harden's motorcycle overturned and went into a ditch. He was taken to Frankfort Regional Medical Center. On July 30, police made an arrest on Morgan Street for obstructed vision/windshield, possession of marijuana and possession of synthetic drugs. On July 31, five windows of a home on Green Street were reported broken, with damage estimated at $950. On July 30, credit cards and $60 in cash were reported stolen from a home on the Delaney Ferry Extension. On July 27, tools worth $100 were reported stolen from a vehicle on Ridgewood Drive. On July 29, a wallet, ATM card and $50 in cash were reported stolen from an industrial site on the U.S. 60 Bypass. On July 27, a vehicle was reported leaving the scene of an accident on Shannon Run Road that damaged 20 feet of a wooden fence. On July 29, police issued a citation/summons on Frankfort Road for possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. On July 28, a black metal trailer worth $1,000 was reported stolen from a home on Shetland Lane. On July 29, a weed trimmer worth $89 was reported stolen from a home on Buck Run Road. On July 27, police made an arrest on Lexington Road for reckless driving, improper turning, DUI, and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. On July 25, credit cards were reported stolen from a vehicle on Main Street in Midway. On July 26, hydrocodone was reported stolen from a vehicle on High Street. On July 27, a bicycle worth $100 was reported stolen from a home on North Brand Street in Midway. On July 26, police made an arrest at a Beech Street home for criminal trespassing and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. County Firefighters performed three EMS assists during the past week. A grass fire was extinguished on I-64 July 26. An alarm malfunctioned on Doncaster Drive July 26. A vehicle fire was extinguished on Shannon Run Road July 27. A vehicle struck a residence on Scarborough Drive July 28.
