Ruby Judy Hughes, 75, of Versailles, wife of Raymond "Curly" Hughes, died Tuesday, Aug. 15, 2017. Born April 18, 1941, in Lexington, she was the daughter of the late Virgil and Lilly Puckett Judy. She was a member of Woodford Christian Church and was a homemaker. In addition to her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Patricia Carmichael, Lexington, Kristi Kaye (David) Grubbs, Versailles, and Shannon (Kevin) Hatfield, Nebraska; two sons, David Hughes, Versailles, and Anthony Hughes, Versailles; a sister, Mary Frances Meredith, Lexington; a brother, Raymond Judy, Cincinnati; 13 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. A daughter, Debra Hughes Griffin, is deceased. No services are planned. Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill, is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
