Amanda Jane Yeary, 54, passed away at her home on Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2017. She was born in Akron, Ohio, to the late Dale and Iris Bratcher Maurer. She was a lifelong faithful Jehovah's Witness, and looked forward to the Bible's promise of the resurrection and everlasting life. Amanda was also an accountant for Wilhite Limited, Inc., in Lexington, KY, for over 20 years. She was a wonderful daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. Words cannot describe how much she will be missed. Amanda was preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Iris Maurer; two brothers, Danny and Jonathon Maurer; and her husband, Kevin Yeary. She is survived by her brother and his wife, Ronald and Dora Maurer; her twin sister, Suzanne Maurer; her two sons and their wives, Joshua and Jessica Yeary and Zachary and Olivia Yeary; her two grandchildren, Sadie Hunt and Colin Yeary; and many loved nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice. The family gives a special thanks to Versailles Fire and WCEMS, and the Hospice team.
