Yolanda "Loni" Woyak Friddle, 74, widow of James "Fred" Friddle, died Monday, Aug. 28, 2017. Born in Elmira, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Jack and Marie Chura Woyak, owners of Fawn Beverage. The former owner of Cherry Knoll Inn, she later spent much of her volunteering with various schools and organizations such as the Cycling Club and Horsey 100. Survivors include three children, Darcy (Jeff) Shepard, Georgetown, Kevin (Colby Roche) Friddle, Stamping Ground, and Eric (Kem) Friddle, Versailles; a sister, Celeste (Mario) Toffolo, Horseheads, N.Y.; five grandchildren, Kari (Adam) Lostocco, Kalyn (Alex) Mohn, Savannah Shepard, Shelby Shepard, and Sadie Shepard; and two great-grandchildren, Kameron and Karson Lostocco. A brother, Don Woyak, is deceased. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 1, at Johnson's Funeral Home, Georgetown. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today, Thursday, Aug. 31.
