Cross country has strong showing at home meet

Woodford County's cross country teams hosted the "All comers" event at Falling Springs Tuesday night. The Jackets finished with the best overall team time in the 5k event on the men's side. Peter McGowan, Kyle Holt, and Justin Lehmkuhler all raced well for the Jackets. The Lady Jackets finished second overall in the 5k. Katie Gatewood had another strong performance, and Abbey Bleuel was also a strong contender. Aiden Zaparnick-Brown and Jackson Moffett finished in the top 10 for middle school boys. Maggie Twehues finished in the top five for middle school girls.
