Cross country competes in a pair of Saturday events

Woodford County had a pair of cross country meets Saturday, Sept. 23. The varsity runners were in Bowling Green for the Gatorland Run and Katie Gatewood and Katherine Crain were the top finishers for the Lady Jackets. Peter McGowan and Kyle Holt were the top finishers for the Jackets. The middle school and elementary teams were in Shelbyville for the Titan Classic. Ian Griffin of St. Leo School and Jay Wells were the top local finishers in the boys' 2,000 meter and Kendyhl Dewar was 25th for the girls' 2,000 meter.
