Amanda Sue Patterson, 72, of Versailles, widow of Cary Gilliam Patterson, died Monday, Oct. 16, 2017. Born July 2, 1945, in Hestand, Ky., she was the daughter of the late Leon and Ruth Wood Crawford. She was a graduate of Lindsey Wilson College and attended Western Kentucky University. She was a member of Versailles Baptist Church and former member of Ashland Baptist Church. She enjoyed preparing family meals and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed playing bunco with her friends and was a member of Tops Kentucky. Survivors include a son, Timothy Neal (Kara) Patterson; a daughter, Natalie A. (Brad) Head; two grandchildren, Austin and Mandy Head; and family members in Adair and Monroe counties. A sister, Delphia Crowe, and a brother, McAden Crawford, are deceased. Funeral services will be conducted at 12:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 20, at Kerr Brothers - Harrodsburg Road, Lexington, by Dr. Michael Cabell. Burial will follow in the Lexington Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today, Thursday, Oct. 19, at the funeral home.
