Wheeler

Jerry C. Wheeler, 72, of Frankfort, widower of Sue Carol Parker Wheeler, died Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2017. Born Dec. 26, 1944, in Versailles, he was the son of the late William H. and Mary Courtney Wheeler. He worked as a mechanic for Jeff Sachs. Survivors incude three daughters, Sherry Lynn Trumble and Sharon Ann Lewis, Verona, and Melissa Druelinger, Frankfort; a son, Mark Allen Bailey, Lawrenceburg; five sisters, Wanda Lancaster, Florida, Anna M. Wheeler, Florida, Connie Wolfe, Ohio, Judy McWhorter, Lexington, and Shirley Wheeler, Lexington; two brothers, Danny Coons, South Carolina, and Raymond Wheeler, Paris; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Two sisters, Hazel Johnson and Jenvie Sparks, and two brothers, David Wheeler and Ricky Wheeler, are deceased. Funeral services were conducted Monday, Oct. 16, at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Road, by Bro. Russ Allen and Bro. Josh Rayburn. Burial followed at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Casket bearers were Edmund Trumble, Raymond Wheeler, Nicholas Wheeler, Gerald Trumble, Austin Bailey, and Jeff Wells. Condolences may be expressed at www.clarklegacycenter.com.
