David Todd Grubbs, 56, of Versailles, husband of Kristi Grubbs, died Monday, Oct. 30, 2017. Born Oct. 25, 1961, in Danville, he was the son of Bob Grubbs, Versailles, and the late Helen Brewer Grubbs. He worked as a facility mechanic for Sylvania Glass and attended Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by two daughters, Amanda (Daniel) Hood, Versailles, and Hannah Grubbs, Versailles; a sister, Lisa Major, Versailles; a brother, Eddie (Carla) Grubbs, Versailles; and four grandchildren, Ayden, Anikah, Micah, and Scarlett Hood. Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. today, Thursday, Nov. 2, at Clark Funeral Home, Rose Hill, by the Rev. David Barron. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions made be made to the American Cancer Society.
