John H. Todd, 74, husband of Sandy Todd, died Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017, at the Hospice Care Center in Lexington from complications of a heart attack. Born Aug. 21, 1943, in Pulaski County, he was the son of the late John Henry Todd and Clarice Keeney Todd Vaught. He was a 1961 graduate of Lafayette High School. He attended Eastern Kentucky University, and served in the United States Army. During his career, he was a supervisor for Rand McNally and a Kaizen Member for Hitachi. He was an avid sportsman and classic car enthusiast. In addition to his wife of 53 years, he is survived by three children, John (Audra) Todd, Susan Todd, and Nathan (Lindsey) Todd, all of Versailles; four siblings, Roger Vaught, Judy Larson, Kathy Smith, and Jeanette (Tom) Honeycutt, all of Alabama; six grandchildren, Jay Todd, Hanna Todd, Kyleigh Taylor, Parker Todd, Gavin Barrows, Kenley Greer; and a great-grandchild, Hunter Todd. Services were conducted Tuesday, Nov. 7, at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home y Pastor Todd Lester. Burial followed at Rose Crest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the Woodford Humane Society, PO Box 44, Versailles, KY, 40383 or the American Heart Association.
