Lawrence “Larry” Ward DeBell, 81, husband of Elizabeth Mullins DeBell, died Thursday, Nov. 9, 2017, at Bluegrass Hospice Care Center in Lexington after a long battle with cancer.

He was born in Buffalo, New York to the late Robert E. and Grace Decker DeBell on May 15, 1936.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Kelly Lynn DeBell Redd and Kathleen Ann DeBell, both of Michigan; his sister, Marsha Glass, Versailles; his brother, Maurice DeBell, Michigan; and his four grandchildren. A memorial service was held Wednesday, Nov. 15, at Versailles United Methodist Church with Pastor Tim Thompson officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Woodford County Food Pantry, P.O. Box 1066, Versailles, KY 40383.
