WCHS boys' soccer members earn Academic All-State


The Woodford County boys' soccer team had six players named to the Academic All-State team. Patrick Stiltner, Zack Ball, Joshua Cromwell, Brandon Cromwell, Chris Phelps and Gavin Nicholson were all named All-State. Drew Blaydes, Noah Hayes, George Madbak, Guy Mogge, Jacob Christian, Braden Reister and Peyton Hall were all honorable mentions.

“I'm proud of all of my players achievements but especially the academic ones,” said Coach Fonyam Atanga. “Not once during the season did we have a player ruled academically ineligible and I am proud how hard these kids worked on the field and in the classroom.”
