Graviss announces candidacy for 56th house district


Advocating a “return to honesty, transparency, civility and common sense” along with a willingness to work across party lines, Woodford County businessman Joe Graviss is announcing his candidacy in Kentucky’s 56th House District.

Joe and his wife Debbie have been married for over 30 years, and have lived in and been active supporters of numerous organizations in their community for decades.

Joe Graviss is a former Owner\Operator of nine McDonald’s Restaurants with over 600 employees in total. Graviss graduated Summa Cum Laude from Transylvania University in 1986 with majors in Accounting and Business Administration and minors in Political Science and History.

He is a graduate of the Leadership Central Kentucky program given by the Lexington Chamber of Commerce. He was awarded the Bluegrass Council of the Boy Scouts Distinguished Citizen of the Year in 2011 and their highest honor, the “North Star” Award in 2013, was inducted into the Woodford County School System’s Hall of Fame in 2016, and received the Legacy Award from Woodford County Chamber of Commerce in 2017.
