Jones to seek reelection

Sandra V. Jones has announced her candidacy to be re-elected to the office of Woodford County Clerk allowing her the opportunity to accomplish additional positive changes while serving a subsequent term as your Woodford County Clerk.

“It has been my privilege and honor to serve the residents of Woodford County as your county clerk during these past three years. During my previous campaign, I pledged that I would make positive, innovative changes in your county clerk’s office that would make our office comparable to all other county clerks’ offices in Kentucky while providing efficient, courteous service. This was accomplished in part by providing digital imaging in the land records division of deeds, mortgages, leases, wills, marriage licenses, as well as other legal recordings concerning Woodford County real estate. In addition to this accomplishment, I have had the opportunity while serving as your county clerk to honor our Veterans through the “Hope for Veterans” campaign where the proceeds from the sale of birdhouses made from Kentucky license plates benefit and support the veterans’ homes in Kentucky.”

Jones and her husband, Lloyd, are native Woodford Countians and their greatest accomplishment in life is their two daughters and five grandchildren.
