Jeremy Mattox files for Circuit Judge
Promising to continue to serve as an efficient and fair-minded jurist, while applying the laws of the
Commonwealth as they are written, Judge Jeremy Mattox officially filed to run for Circuit Court Judge for the 14th Judicial Circuit, Division 1. The 14th Judicial Circuit includes all of Bourbon, Scott, and Woodford Counties.
“Since receiving the appointment in August, I have worked hard every day to meet the needs of one of the fastest growing Judicial Circuits in the state,” said Judge Mattox.
“I look forward to continuing to serve the people of Bourbon, Scott, and Woodford Counties as Circuit Judge for many more years.”
Judge Mattox was appointed in August to replace Judge Rob Johnson.
Judge Mattox lives in Georgetown with his wife, Melissa, a CPA with Kinkead and Stilz in Lexington. Judge Mattox is a 2003 Graduate of Georgetown College and a 2006 Graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Law. Prior to serving as Judge, he ran a successful private law practice for over 10 years in Paris and Georgetown.
