Harold Ray Dean, 68, husband of Pamela Johnson Dean, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, Nov. 29, 2017, in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky.
Born on June 23, 1949, in Anderson County, KY, he was the son of the late Chester and Ruby Murphy Dean. Harold was a former employee of Texas Instruments where he worked on boiler room maintenance.
In addition to his wife of 34 years, he is survived by a daughter, Kelley (Steve) Dennis, Pensacola, FL; two sons, Mitchell Dean and Ryan (Sarah) Dean, both of Lawrenceburg; a stepson, Scottie (Valerie) Curtis, Winchester; three sisters, Nancy Wooldridge, Frankfort,; Grace Perry and Doris Carmichael, both of Lawrenceburg; two brothers, James “Buck” Dean, Junction City, KS; Vernon (Patsy) Dean, Harrodsburg; five grandchildren, Keelan Dean, Charity Curtis, Lauren Dennis, Evan Dennis, and Addison Dean.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Dean and sister, Helen Dean.
Services were held Tuesday, Dec. 5, at Blackburn & Ward Funeral Home. Inurnment was held Thursday, Dec. 7, at Rose Crest Cemetery.
