Every,Adoption ,Sponsored Through Dec. 31

It’s already been at Woodford Humane and it’s not hard to see why; Monday launched our Adoption Drive sponsored by Quantrell Subaru! If you’ve been wanting to add a pet to your family, this is a great time to do it: Quantrell Subaru has sponsored the entire adoption fee of every pet at Woodford Humane, now through the end of the year. For adopters, that means no adoption fee; for the animals, it means lots of happy homes for the holidays and forever. This is the fifth year that Quantrell Subaru has sponsored year-end adoptions at Woodford Humane in one way or another; but 2016 broke the mold, with over 130 adoptions in a two-week period. Needless to say, if we are that busy again this year, we will be thrilled. And not just because of the joy of finding homes for those hundred-plus animals; the impact of busy adoption periods like this one actually goes much deeper. Sending pets home also helps ensure that we have space and resources at our Adoption Center for more pets who need help, including the wave of moms and babies we take in every spring. We sincerely can’t thank Quantrell Subaru enough for making this Adoption Drive possible again this year. If you decide to join us during this exciting event, we would love to help you find a new best friend. We will be open our regular business hours during this time, with the exception of special hours on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve (we will be open 11 a.m. to 2p.m.) and Christmas Day (we will be closed). As always, an approved adoption application and all of the screening that comes with it is required to adopt. If you’re not ready to adopt but want to support this wonderful event, please consider matching part or all of a pet’s sponsorship! Gifts of $100 or more are eligible to be matched by our SAVE Matching Fund; gifts of any amount will make a big difference to the pets in our care. You can donate in person at the Adoption Center, mail a gift to P.O. Box 44, Versailles, Ky. 40383, or give online at woodfordhumane.org. Whether you’re adopting, making a donation, or just feeling a little warm and fuzzy about so many pets finding their forever homes, thank you for your love, compassion, and support. From all of us at Woodford Humane to all of you in this wonderful community of ours, happy holidays and a joyful new year.
