Versailles police responded to two accidents involving injuries, eight non-injury accidents, one domestic-related complaint and made two arrests.
On Dec. 15 at 11:02 a.m., a Toyota Camry driven by Carol J. Robinson, 58, of 204 Doncaster Road, was parked in her driveway. She told police she went inside, returned to the car, sat down, and the engine revved. The car moved forward and struck the back wall of the garage. She told police the car was still in park when the accident occurred. Robinson was treated at the scene by Woodford County EMS workers.
On Dec. 17 at 11:30 a.m., a Mercedes-Benz S550 driven by Milly M. Stewart, 88, of Frankfort, was headed north on West Leestown Road approaching the intersection of Woodlake Road. She told police she felt light-headed and likely fainted. The car went off the right side of the road and struck a road sign and stop sign. She was treated at the scene by Woodford County EMS workers.
On Dec. 18, firearms worth $3,100 were reported stolen from a home on Princess Circle.
On Dec. 20, police made an arrest on Highland Avenue for leaving the scene of an accident, DUI and driving on a DUI-suspended license.
On Dec. 20, a Kentucky EPO was reported violated at a home on St. Clair Street.
On Dec. 19, two forged checks worth a total of $140 were reported on Scarborough Drive.
On Dec. 21, battery cables were reported stolen on Crossfield Drive.
On Dec. 20, identity theft was reported on Tyrone Pike.
On Dec. 15, terroristic threatening was reported at a home on Kentucky Avenue.
Firefighters performed 33 EMS assists during the past week and installed one car seat.
On Dec. 20, they responded to a false alarm on Janet Street and a dumpster fire on St. Clair Street.
On Christmas Day, they responded to a malfunctioning carbon monoxide detector on Macey Avenue and false alarms on Pine Grove Road and North Main Street.
