Kay files to run for judge-executive

James Kay has filed to run for Woodford County judge-executive.

James is an inspired leader with a vision for Woodford County. “I’m working for a new Woodford County that builds a better future for every Woodford Countian.”

James and his wife Cara were born and raised in Woodford County and are raising their sons Kieran (2) and Kyan (6 mos.) in Versailles. James and Cara are proud products of Woodford County Schools and believe in making Woodford County a better place to live, work and raise a family.

Kay’s top priorities will include opening county government, making it more accessible and transparent. “We will modernize and innovate.

I am committed to honest government that is responsive to our people.”

James believes in balanced budgets, fiscal responsibility and engaging citizens. “Our people make Woodford County the greatest county in all of Kentucky. I will listen to every citizen and work with anyone willing to make a difference.”

James Kay is an attorney and currently serves as State Representative. “I will continue to give my best in Frankfort, and I hope to come home and do the same as your next Woodford County judge-executive.”
